Boutique NY-based real estate appraisal firm seeks a real estate appraiser with a general license and minimum of 5 years appraisal experience with diversified properties. Not a good fit for someone with a primarily residential appraisal background and/or strictly bank-related mortgage financing, fee-based work. A good fit will be someone with a variety of commercial and residential appraisal experience. Position also requires a good communicator: both strong interpersonal and writing skills. Would work for someone with their own new, or established practice on the side but could maintain confidentiality and devote sufficient time.
